Tuna Steaks with Capers, Coriander & Basil

Serves: 4

Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Tips:
  • You can also cook this recipe on the barbecue
Ingredients:
  • 2 handfuls fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 2 handfuls fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoon capers
  • 1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 4 tuna steaks, each about 2cm thick

Method

Mix together basil, coriander, lemon juice, capers & chilli. Season with salt & pepper. Rub mixture into both sides of tuna steaks. Rub a small amount of olive oil over cooking pan. Heat pan on a high flame until very hot, add the tuna steaks & cook for 2 minutes each side.
